This was an early game starting at 6:15pm on July 21st. It was Harry Potter night at the game and they gave the kids Harry Potter glasses. There were two boys & one's mother sitting in front of us (see photo below) Jake on the right was really into H. P. and entered the H. P. look-a-like contest, but lost as he didn't have a costume. Later he entered a match H. P. characters with their names, which he won. Greg is sitting next to Jake. Note the umpires with H. P. regalia. The R. C. Quakes have a 10 year-old stadium called the Epicenter, built in 1993. It's quite nice with two informative scoreboards. It was a pretty good game and tonight the Quakes had better pitching than the Bakersfield Blaze. One Blaze player got hit by two different Quakes' pitchers three times. It was near 90 when we went in with a strong wind blowing, but the temperature dropped nearly 20 degrees after the sun went down. The mascot is Tremor the Rallysaurus. There are bleachers down both lines. The lines are RF-330', CF-400', LF-330', RC & LF-375'. The Quakes won 8-6 and the box score was Blaze R-6, H-6, E-4 and Quakes R-8, H-12, E-0. 2001 new logo. 2007 affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels. Name in 2014 is LoanMart Field and seats 6,615.
