The Clinton LumberKings, a Single A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, play at Alliant Energy Field, formerly Riverview Stadium that was built in 1937. The stadium received a major upgrade in 2006. Total seating is 4,000. All new picnic area, children's play area, and player clubhouses down the 3rd baseline. The stadium is very close to the Mississippi River. You can see a gambling riverboat over the fence. Clinton was playing the Dayton Dragons and lost 1-0 on a wild pitch. The box score was Dayton R-1, H-11, E-0, and Lumberjacks R-0, H-6, E-1.
