This was the opening night of the Aquasox season at home. This was our first field on our Roadtrip. The Everett Aquasox, a Single A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners play at Everett Memorial Stadium, which opened in 1984 and received a major upgrade in 2001, seating 3,682. It was a great night for baseball with the temperature in the low 70s and a light wind from the west. The Aquasox were playing the Spokane Indians. The final score was 10-5 with the Aquasox as the winners. Attending the game with us were several students and their families and a teacher and his wife from Jim's school. This is a nice stadium with a large field beyond the 1st baseline seating for children to run and play catch before and during the game. The floor of the seating area is aluminum which encourages fun stamping feet after Aquasox scores. The mascot is Webley the Frog. Beyond the right field fence is a grass seating area. The field lines are RF-325', CF-395', and LF-335'. We saw 3 homeruns hit over the right centerfield scoreboard.
