The Bowie Baysox, a Double A affiliate of Baltimore, play in Prince George's Stadium. The stadium was built in 1994, opened June 16, 1994, and is a nice stadium with seats below the aisle and bleachers with backs above the aisle. Tickets prices are satisfactory when you consider no cost for parking or program. The Baysox were playing the Reading Phillies. The Baysox had a shut-out going through 8 2/3 innings and then gave up a homerun. They won 7-1. The box score was Phillies R-1, H-8, E-2 and Baysox R-7, H-12, E-0. The starting pitcher, Lopez, (don't know first name as he was not listed in program) had 13 strike outs through 6 1/3 innings. The relievers added 3 more strike outs.
