The New Orleans Zephyrs, a Triple A affiliate of Houston, play at Zephyr Field which was built in 1997, seating 10,000. The outside is nondescript without even a name on it. There are two levels of seating, all green seats, with suites and press box at the back of the second level. There are party areas in right field with a large pool, and the left and right field corners. In right center is the Levee, a tall berm with grass seating. There is a varied menu with several Louisiana style foods. The Zephyrs were playing the Edmonton Trappers and beat them fairly easily 7-4. The box score was Trappers R-4, H-5, E-1 and Zephyrs R-7, H-10, E-2. The field lines are RF-332', CF-400', and LF-333'. Smoking is allowed on the concourse behind the first level seating. Before the game a nightly parachute jump was made on to the field. Depending on which baseline the man landed and the color of a sheet you were given on entering the field you could enter a drawing for a Harley Davidson motorcycle to be given out later this year. Boudreax and Clotile, two nutrias, are the mascots. Next to last picture shows the pool area. Zephyr Field is next door to the New Orleans Saints Football Team's indoor practice and training area. 2009 affiliated with Florida Marlins. New Logo 2009. New Logo 2010.
