Today we started the trip for the summer of 2002. Leaving home at 3pm in 90 degree heat for Tacoma. We stayed the night at McChord AFB. We met one of Andrea's ex-co-workers and her family at the gate ready for a great game. It was a beautiful night and we enjoyed watching the Rainiers win 3-1 over the Fresno Grizzlies. Ian got Rhubarb the Reindeer's autograph on his jacket. The field distances at Cheney Stadium are RF-325', RC-350, CF-425', LC-385', and LF-325'.
