On Sunday, March 25, we visited Hohokam Stadium, spring training home of the Chicago Cubs, which is located in Mesa. The Cubs were playing the Los Angeles Angels and lost 3-2. It was a bright, sunny day and we were able to sit in the shade at the end of the 1st base line covered area. We went with Gary and Ruth. Gary is a Cub's fan. On the outside of the stadium are banners for all of the Cactus League teams. Cute statues of boys playing baseball outside on the third base side of the stadium. The Cubbie Hole is one of the concession stands under the seating inside the stadium.
