Spring Training March 21-26, 2011. We saw the first game at Peoria Sports Complex which is shared by the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres on March 21st. We attended all of the games with Andrea's brother Gary and his wife Ruth. Gary's Navy friend and wife went to the game with us. The Mariners, backed by Jim and Andrea, were playing the Chicago Cubs, backed by Gary and Ruth. The Mariners won 5 to 3. The box score was Cubs R-3, H-13, E-1 and Mariners R-5, H-9, E-1. The field lines are RF & LF-340 and CF-410. Rick the Peanut Guy was pitching peanuts and zinged one right by Jim who flinched. Once he realized who the thower was he realized that flinching wasn't necessary. Mid-inning race between Sonic Tater Tot, Hot Dog and Drink. Picture into Ms dugout. Statue of boy with first mitt.
