The Fort Worth Cats, an American Association independent league team, play at LaGrave Field, which was rebuilt in 2002 and seats 5,000. We went to the game with our son-in-laws' parents, his brother and his brother's girlfriend. When we arrived at the ballpark there were several dark clouds on the horizon. The game started and by the second inning the first thunderstorm arrived. There was a one hour and thirty-five minute rain delay. The Cats were playing the Grand Prairie Air Hogs and lost 7-1. The box score was Air Hogs R-7, H-12, E-0 and Cats R-1, H-6, E-1. The field lines are RF 335', CF-400', LF-325'. This is the only location ever where Jim has seen League baseballs for sale in the team store. The mascot is a cat named Dodge. There is a trail in left field where they have activities for the children and where you can ride your horse and stop and watch the game. Between inning activities of frozen t-shirts and Rally Cats dance team. During the rain delay we watch the lightning and they had several activities-Karioke and Dodge, the cat, dancing. 2012 joined United League. New Logo.
