Double Ditch Indian Village

The site of the Double Ditch Indian Village is 7.5 miles north of Bismarck on Highway 1804. The village contained 56 earth lodges, each home to an extended family. At the village today, circular depressions left by the lodges remain, as well as the faint path of the village's two (double) fortification ditches.
