'This Grand Scene'...North Dakota from the Palette and Pen of George Catlin. Following the trail of Lewis and Clark in 1832, Catlin was one of the first artists to capture American Indian portraits and events on canvas in what is now North Dakota. The exhibit features 6 of his paintings. Numerous artifiacts illustrate the details Catlin captured in his work.
