The permanent exhibits of the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center explore the geography and geology of the region, its prehistoric life, and the impace of people arriving in this area.

As has happened in many other places along the Missouri River the confluence with other rivers has moved as is indicated in Row 2--#1. The last picture shows the Yellowstone entering the Missouri left of center of the picture.
