The Mobile Bay Bears, a Double A affiliate of San Diego, play at Hank Aaron Stadium. This was our second visit to Mobile. The pictures are from this year. The Bay Bears were playing the Jacksonville Suns and beat them 8-1. The box score was Suns R-1, H-9, E-2 and bay Bears R-8, H-9, E-0. As you drive the highways you see road advertising signs by Chick-Fil-A(a restaurant) that has cows suggesting that you eat chickens and not cows. Tonight one of the cows was at the games and 20 children chased it across the field as a between inning activity. Ben Davis is in the Hall of Fame here because of his play in 1998 when they won the Southern League Championship. Check this link to see more information that I put in last year. We sat in Row 2 of the Club Seats, so were able go in the Stadium Club. 2007 affiliate of Arizona Diamondbacks. |
